for doing all the hardwork.
But where have we been ? I blame the mad rush to get 90% of all great games out for the Xmas holidays. Current theives of my time have been 2 wonderful rhythm action games: Elite Beat Agents on the DS and Guitar Heros 2 on the PS2. But now sucking up every spare moment I have is the wonderful Gears of War on the 360.
... of course it gets worse, though you guys in the US already have your Wii's and PS3's, the Wii comes out in the UK this Friday which means dedicating our lives to Zelda for many hours - Happily enough the PS3 isn't out until March, but frankly who can afford it ;-)

I did it! Viewtiful Joe Adult ending online
And by 'Adult', we don't mean adult adult, if you get me... heh. It's been hard work but loved every minute of Viewtiful Joe. I want more, the rewards you get for playing are amazing but I might tackle something else equally as deep now, like Devil May Cry 3, sitting there gathering dust on the shelf, never played up until now. Shocking.
Respect goes out to Saurian, a Hoff amongst men, and his YouTube pages for helping me find my Heroness.

COD2 and Longest Journey endings online.. ouch my knee
Wondering where all the updates are ? Well, magic l0rd is trying to finish Viewtiful Joe right now.. amd if you've played the game you'll no that's no small task.
I, on the other hand had to have my knee operated on, so I've been at home for 2 weeks feeling sorry for myself and too ill to finish anything... that said, Pheonix Wright on my DS is a wonderful companion whilst lazing around on the sofa with my leg up.
But finally, here are a few endings. COD2 was pretty straightforward, but The Longest Journey defied all capture techniques on the PC. Fraps slowed down to 1FPS and refused to capture the FMV sequences, so I ending up going out of the S-video connector on my Nvidea card, then into my DV camcorder, then back in via composite (yuk) later to capture the ending. This was made more complex by the fact that Windows XP refused to detect my camcorder via the firewire port. Anyone else got a Canon MV5i that connects via firewire to Windows XP should email me immediately with trouble shooting advice.

NiGHTS into Dreams ending online.
More SEGA retro with magical gaming, er, game NiGHTS on the Saturn. It's a super little game that I thought I'd show to the kids which didn't work out too well (no guns, blood or violence; see, I paraloop a 'pion and I get traumatised... kids today!) so I blast through it myself and grab the ending. Warning -- catchy (albeit terrible) music in the end sequence may drive you insane. "In a dream I could see you are not far away..."

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening ending online.
Emulation isn't the only way to capture a good ending; faced with fraps issues and dodgy emulation, I actually played the actual Gameboy game on a real life Gameboy! Stunning, only there's no real way to capture from the platform but thanks to Nintendo whoring out the platform and releasing Gameboy players for, well, everything, I hooked up the 'cube and captured ace RPG Link's Awakening.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past ending online
We're really spoiling you here at game-endings this past week. Not only do we put some great DC endings up but we also have the Super Nintendo's Zelda title and man, is Link to the Past such an amazing game. Let's hope the Wii's Twilight Princess is just as good.

Space Channel 5 ending online
Well, I can't let magic l0rd have all the fun with the Dreamcast endings can I. So prepare yourselves for yet another great DC game in the shape of Space Channel 5. *sigh* wasn't the Dreamcast great, why did it have to die (boo hoo sniff etc)
Posted by CurryKitten at 23:03:40 15-09-2006
Jet Set Radio ending online
Go me! Another classic Dreamcast title down. Online a few hundred or so to go, heh.
We want your retro endings at game-endings! There's literally thousands of games that can be added to the site and with modern emulation being practically perfect, FRAPS and some decent hardware you too can contribute content to the site; it's easy!

Rayman 2 ending online
Wow, an update! And it only took a few seconds thanks to the fancy stuff CurryKitten has done to the site. I'm surprised there aren't more updates now, heh.
Anyway, one of my fave Dreamcast (or insert platform here) games is up online after clocking it for the umpteenth time today. Enjoy!

Mario 64 ending online
After magic l0rd's post of Paper Mario's ending, it was obvious that I needed to revist a few Mario games. I've actually just completed New Mario Bros on the DS, but with no decent way of capturing from that platform, I went back and replayed one of my favorate games ever. Mario 64, so kick back and get all nostalgic as Bowser gets his ass kicked yet again.
We've also just put a minor change in to pull the news and endings page out of a database as magic l0rd and myself almost managed to wipe each others changes out recently when trying to edit at the same time. So if anyone is suddenly confronted by a bunch of mySQL errors then please let me know.

Sky Odyssey ending online
Cough, cough. Oh dear, I'm not feeling the best of health right now. Perfect timing I guess as I'm almost off on my hols for a few days. Oh well, gives me a chance to get some gaming in. And here's another ending to the best fly 'em up you've never played, Sky Odyssey.

Paper Mario ending online
Cor blimey, it's a bit hot out! As a record breaking heat wave sweeps across the UK, I spend all my time indoors folding bits of paper, Nintendo-style. So if your PC is up to the heat, go check it out. Classic Nintendo gaming at its best.

Taking a break from the sun (read: gardening as ordered by the other half), I get to save the Lylat system once again. This time, in Vaseline-o-vision. Lube up and check it out!

Not Starwing, Starfox... Thank you. Ignoring silly name changes, I don my furry Fox body suit and defend the Lylat System from Andross once again. No animals were harmed in the making of this clip.

Tomb Raider: Legend ending online
Whilst magic l0rd was spending 80 hours in Disgaea, I spent 7 hours playing through the new Tomb Raider game, and then another
73 hours repeatedly trying to capture the video properly.. which for some bizarro reason would always cut off the last minute.
But after great personal struggle, it's finally online.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness ending online
Oh. My. God. That's another 80-odd hours down the pan :) I think I'm just about done with Disgaea, a biblically good strategy role playing game. All the endings are up for your viewing pleasure so hit the endings page and check 'em out. Blimey, what shall I play now?! Give it another couple of months and I'm sure you'll find out when I get around to another update. Heh.

Retro? Yes, retro. Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap online
Yes, I'm still here. Disgaea is certainly addictive, I'll give it that. Even doing the final little bit is massive fun; I kind of figured it would be really dull but no, it's still a fantastic strategy RPG. Certainly recommended, it's out in PAL land too!
So yeah, I figured I'd have a little fun and post an ending to one of the greatest games of all time; Wonderboy III: The Dragon's Trap. Well, in my opinion anyway ;) I hope you enjoy!

Still Life ending online
Having finally managed to ween myself off of Guitar Hero, I then start playing Oblivion on my 360. This is not a good idea
if you ever want any free time to do anything else. Happily enough, I've managed to stop wondering around random temples long
enough to put the ending for Still Life online. A nice little adventure game on the Xbox that very few people seemed to play.
magic l0rd, meantime is still plugging away on Disegea and has now done 7 of the 8 endings, so hopefully he'll crack that last one
and we'll have a bumper update :-)

All 3 endings to Fahrenheit online, and affiliates a-go-go
I part of my day off from work, I managed to capture the endings of 4 games today. Alas, I only have time to post up one, and
I've picked Fahrenheit as it has the most endings. The others will trickle down in a weeks time.
You might notice a few affiliates listed above now. All part of the attempt of getting this site self-funding. All I would
ask if that if you are buying a game, cd or whatever and you'd use one of the above, you do so by clicking on one of the links
as it helps us out massively. Thanks.

Starfox Assault ending online... where have we been
Ok, so my excuses in not updating in over a month is mainly due to two things. Firstly, I was transferring
everything over from game-endings.co.uk to game-endings.net.. although coming in to game-endings.co.uk should
forward you to the .net domain, so everything should be all fine and dandy.
Secondly, I've been playing Guitar Hero almost non-stop since it finally got released in the UK - what a
great game, but about as addictive as crack. I've only managed to wean myself off it because I was watching
all the press conferences from E3 today. Anyway, slightly more regular updates should be restore... aside from the
fact I'm off on holiday for a week, but I know magic l0rd has about half the endings sorted for Disegea, so
with any luck, the next update will come from him.
Big apologies to Matt Corongiu who actually sent me the
Starfox Assault movie and text way back in early April.... see above for excuses about why this has taken so long.
But, hey - it's there now right. Enjoy.

Ace Combat 5 ending online... and it's all change
Like the title says, the Ace Combat 5 ending is online, so go watch it, and enjoy.
In other news, I hate my current hosting company... no no, not Dreamhost - they are fab, and you can still get that great hosting
deal a few updates down. I went to transfer the domain from my current hosting company to dreamhost, but they want the equivalent
of 1.5 years of hosting for the pleasure of letting me go. So things might go a bit screwy as we try and sort this out. Expect
to see odd domain names in your browser.. but it'll still be us, er.. or something like that. In summary, service as normal.
And as a final update for today, our biggest contribute, magic l0rd is going to
join us and post in his own updates. There are 2 immediate benefits of this: Firstly, it'll save me all that typing, and secondly;
this page will finally say something other that "Posted by CurryKitten". Hooray for progress.

FFVIII and FFIX endings online
Two great FF endings go up online tonight, from new contribute Tony G, who found
us on google and decided to capture a few endings... in short, our model game-endings visitor.
Could YOU finish a game ? Then why not send it to us. It's a sure fire way to win adoration from your peers, get free
money, and make you more attractive to women* All you need is a capture card (they are really really cheap these days) or perhaps
a DVD/HD recorder, or something like Fraps for PC games. There's a vague description of what to do in our contribute section.
* If you believe this, then please send me money and I'll sell you an acre of prime real-estate on the moon.

Ecco ending online.. also I want your money
Forums are annoying places sometime, for example: every game, no matter how universally good seem to end up getting this backlash
where everyone then decides it's shit for no apparent reason. But it was a good day on rllmuk,
when a discussion about Ecco popped up and it seemed that magic l0rd was the only
person among us to finish it. Then we exerted enough peer pressure on him until he agreed to sit down, finish the game again and
capture the ending. And here it is.
Ok, money money money. I do need to try and make this site fund itself, it's not that expensive to run, but does at the moment
involve my wife tutting at me and sighing occasionally. So rather than just beg (that comes later), we have managed to get an
offer together for anyone who needs some webspace. Our videos are hosted by a wonderful company called www.dreamhost.com
who will give you an amazing 1TB bandwidth per month along with lots of goodies for as little as $7.95 a month. So should you need
webspace, click on the link and enter the word GAMEENDINGS as a promo code, and you'll get $10 off.

Transformers ending online
Like the title says, another ending up online for another slightly overlooked PS2 game. Shame on all you people that didn't buy
it !!
In other news, things are going to change in the layout and the way that the video is delivered in the next few months. Kind of
a reaction of the monthly bandwidth hitting over 100GB and growing. We think it should be a good thing though, and will
allow us to hopefully open up a bit more; for example: start to include more retro endings. More details to follow soon !

Ninja Gaiden Black ending online
I played Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox, it involved my getting the the first boss and dying horribly. After doing this 3 or 4 times
I gave up never to try again. That's an inspiration message for all the kids out there: if at first you don't succeed, then
give up and make a website. So finally we have the ending - yay. Now I know NG Black, is supposed to be the "easy" version of
NG, but as far as I know the ending is exactly the same - let me know if this isn't the case
Thanks also to all the nice people who sent emails about finding us on google. The conclusion from this is, putting "game endings"
into good won't find us, but attempting to google an ending for a specific game will. Loads of people also found us from the FFVII
ending that's also up on video.google. Welcome everyone.
I updated our contribute page with a few more endings we're after, if you can help us, then get in touch. If there's something
your desperate to see which we haven't listed, then let us know and perhaps we'll add it.

Deus Ex: Invisible War, and Perfect Dark endings online. Did you find us on Google ?
A classic N64 ending online in the shape of Perfect Dark, and then all 4 endings from the Xbox version of Deus Ex: Invisible War.
I noticed recently in the stats that we're getting some visitors in having found us on a search engine. Whilst this may not sound
like a big deal, we literally had no traffic here until around November. Trouble is though, I can't find a direct link to us on google,
although UK Yahoo places us fairly high. So, did you find us on google ? If so let me know, what was your search term and how many
pages did you have to go through to find us.
Of course, google works out popularity based on links to this site, so if you have your own site, please feel free to link to us :D

Panzer Dragoon Saga and Oddworld: Strangers Wrath endings online
Having put FFVII up last time, here's an equally classic ending for Panzer Dragoon Saga - the difference being that not many
people would have seen the end of Saga simply because when the game was first released it was done so in limited quantities, and
so if you want a copy now, it'll cost you.
Second up is Oddworld: Strangers Wrath, which for the first time (from Oddworld inhabitants) didn't feature Abe and is a bit of
a shooter. The trademark gorgeous CGI is still present though. Both endings came in from magic l0rd,
so a big thanks to him.
This is probably the last update until after Xmas, so have a merry one. I hope Santa brings you all capture cards to go with those
shiny new consoles and games - so we get a few more contributes ;-)

Final Fantasy VII ending online
Here we have the opportunity to take a break from the frenzy of looking for an Xbox 360 and take a look at an ending for another
real classic game: FFVII, helpfully supplied by qazimod , so many
thanks to him.
...and what's FFVII got to do with a 360 you ask ? Well, nothing, but I'm one of the poor unfortunates that pre-ordered through
Amazon, so I'll be lucky to see one before February :'-( Never mind, I'll amuse myself by staring at box for PGR3 some more.

Silent Hill 4 endings online *cough splutter*
The SH4 endings (4 of them) are finally online.. I say finally, SH_Algernon kindly sent
these in over a week ago (apols for the delay), but I've been suffering with various cold symptoms (or "man-flu" according to my wife) so have not been able to update
the page.. until now - hooray.

A New Rez ending
Well I had thought getting Rez's butterfly ending wa as good as it got, but magic l0rd
has sent in the pink butterfly ending - which I think is getting the full 100% stats in everything. So this has been posted in
addition to the "normal" butterfly ending, be sure to check it out.
In the next few days the Silent Hill 4 endings go up... they should have already been up on the site but I've been too lazy/busy/drunk/etc

Shadow of the Colossus ending online
Having just put the largest file online with the ending of ICO, we go and break it by a further 5MB with the ending of it's
(kinda) sequel. Another fantastic ending, which tugs at your heart strings, and makes your brain work overtime. I was a
little bit worried about putting an ending up that's so new... but hey if you haven't played it and don't want to spoil it
then don't download it !
Posted by CurryKitten at 00:59:00 30-10-2005
ICO ending online
Hardly a new game, but it is the best game on the PS2 and has a stonker of an ending. Replaying ICO is also the
right way to welcome the release of Shadow of the Colossus, which is just staggering. I'm 11 colossi down and loving
every minute of it. Epic endings come at a high price and this one is over 50MB, it's possible we could have cut some,
but there are some things in life you don't mess with, and ICO is one of them. Thanks to magic l0rd
for the capture.

Sudeki ending online, and Fable ending corrected
Another RPG ending from a game I personally can't be arsed to play - so yay, Sudeki is up for all to enjoy. Meantime,
magic l0rd noticed something was up with the good ending he sent in
for Fable, having confirmed this with his other half (of which I'm so impressed with, my wife would just tut and shake
her head in a knowing "he's on about games again" kind of way), he's submitted a correction. Check out the Fable page
for more, possibly confusing, details on this.

Fable evil & good endings online
We are still here plugging away, but this is quite a gap for a site update. I'm completely blaming my DS for this
Ouendan and Nintendogs is sucking away time like anything... must try harder.
In the meantime magic l0rd, after recently moving house, has
finally managed to locate all the boxes with his gaming kit in, and has come through with these two endings for the
somewhat RPG-starved Xbox.
Posted by CurryKitten at 00:01:00 12-10-2005
Halo & Halo 2 Legendary endings online
Hmm, not too much to say about this. Everyone with an Xbox *should* have Halo at least, and should have finished it. But
finishing in Legendary, and thus seeing the extra bit of ending, is a bit trickier.
In other news, we may be in for a site revamp. After a friend asked for help on his site (yes, clearly he hasn't seen how
basic this one is), I have discovered CSS... only about 5 years too late. So perhaps a sprucing up is due soon.

FarCry ending online and other stuff coming
I'd say we were in a bit of a dry spell lately, with nothing coming in, and us lot not finishing anything of note. In fact,
I'm stupidly trying to play too many games at once and getting nowhere fast in all of them. Actually I did see the ending
of Zoo Keeper on my DS last night, but hardly worthy of posting here.
What we do have right now is the ending of the PC FPS, FarCry. I know that a lot of people gave up as soon as the monsters
appeared in that game, so if you want to see how it all turned out, then take a look.
We're meantime working on finishing off the other Resident Evil endings, Jon tells me he just has 2 more (out of the 6) Chris
endings to get, then he's trying to refinish Project Zero, and playing through Project Zero 2 as well, so ... er, keep tuned or something.
Posted by CurryKitten at 23:05:00 23-08-2005
Tales of Symphonia ending online
I'd finished ToS ages ago, but was scared to go back to it. When you are playing a game every day for a few weeks, everything
comes quite naturally to you, but don't play it for a few months, then come back and try and fight the final boss. It's
hard. ToS took me a few goes to beat the final boss again, then the sound was all screwy so had to be repeated.
Using our normal compression, the ending was coming in at over 70MB, so we've lowered the bitrate and have this down to
40MB now. It struck me at this point that it might be useful to say how big these files are - because if you just click on
the ending, then Media player (or whatever you use) will sit there for a few minutes downloading it, and some people might
think it's just not worked. So hopefully this will either give people confidence that 40MB even over a fast broadband
connection will take a few minutes, or make them think that right clicking and saving is easier. I'll try and go through the
existing stuff at some point and put the size of the downloads on them as well.
Posted by CurryKitten at 23:20:00 04-08-2005
Psychonauts ending online
I just finished playing through this game tonight, and thought it was a great ending, so here it is. I'm also throwing open
the challenge for anyone to capture a 100% ending to replace my less than 100% one.. that;s if it's different of course, gamefaqs
doesn't tell me one way or the other.
Posted by CurryKitten at 23:36:00 28-07-2005
Metroid Prime 1 & 2 endings online
I'm filing the Metroid Prime 100% endings under the category "Too damn hard for me". Thankfully there are dedicated, hardcore
metroid fans out there who live these games, and so now us mere mortals can gaze upon the 100% ending glory.
In other news, it seems that game-endings.co.uk readers, like things to be 100% factually accurate, or are just anal retentive -
you decide. So, with thanks to Adnan Javed for pointing out our mistake, you'll
now notice in the RE1 endings that I describe the helicopter flying off into a Sunrise, NOT a Sunset !
Posted by CurryKitten at 00:02:00 28-07-2005
Doom 3 Endings online
Just before SH_Algernon gets stuck into Silent Hill 4, he's sent us
in the endings to Doom 3 and it's expansion pack "Resurresion of Evil". So for everyone who, frankly, got a bit hacked off
with playing through the game, we present the endings in all their glory.
Posted by CurryKitten at 23:40:00 23-07-2005
Resident Evil and Teamwork
Wow, this is like a proper collaboration and everything. Jon locked himself in his room for a week and went through Resident
Evil on the Gamecube saving at the appropriate times so it was easy to complete the game and get the 6 endings possible with
Jill. Then he came over to my house with the intention that I capture them on my PC while he kills the final boss.
Of course, this ended up with us on the hottest day of the year stuck in a little room with masses of heat generating consoles
and computers overheating us to boiling point. Add to this the fact that Jon was still wearing a suit from work *snigger*.
Anyhow, more often than not, after a good 10 minutes of completing the bits we needed to get the ending we were after, we'd get
to the final boss, then battle on bravely before being confronted by the "You Died" screen. Eventually Jon got fed up,
went home and left me to grab the final ending - which I of course did on my first attempt ;-P
So with a bunch of text from Jon, and some from me, we proudly present the 6 endings... and this is just for Jill, we've got Jon
working his way through the game with Chris for another 6 (I think) endings.

The 5 Silent Hill endings online
I sit here sweating in 30 C heat with computers spitting their hot air at me, just so you don't have to. I've just
finished putting the SH1 endings up, and as with the other SH endings, expect dark, twisted and confusing with some weird humour
thrown in for good measure.

Busy busy busy, with Jade Empire online and some more coming soon
How odd for an RPG. I finished Jade Empire and got the "good" ending. It took 20 hours. Well, there was no way I was
playing for another 20 hours for the other ending, so I was ready to send out a request for anyone who finished the game
the other way, when Jon spotted in gamefaqs that getting all 3 endings is very easy if you have a few save points just
5 minutes from the end of the game. So we have all 3 endings of Jade Empire online now.
But, coming soon - i.e the next few days, we have all the endings from Silent Hill 1, as supplied by Silent Hill guru
SH_Algernon (modest to a fault, he assures me there's nothing special about
his skills).
We have also captured all of Jills Resident Evil endings on the Gamecube... well, all but one. A long story which I'll explain
when I post these up. So keep watching this space.

Otogi 2 ending online with some random thoughts
Another excellent capture from magic l0rd online here, with massive thanks
to him, so pre-processing the video for me, and writing up a great description of the game and it's ending.
I was just having a quick think over things, and thought it was interesting that just when you think you'd seen it all from
a machine, something comes along and just blows your mind. The Gamecube had pretty much died when RE4 came along and
resurrected it, and while the PS2 hasn't died by any means, I certainly thought I'd seen the best from it after playing ICO
and lots of drunk sessions of various Eyetoy and Singstar games. But then out of nowhere comes God of War. Bloody hell, how
fantastic is this game ? My advice is simple, if you haven't got RE4 or God of War, you need to get hold of the respective
consoles and the games and play them immediately - they are that good. Expect the God of War ending up here soon.

Starfox Adventures ending online
Here's the "other" Gamecube title I was working on... and I'd love to see the end of Veiwtiful Joe here, but that
game is severely kicking my arse. Anyone want to contribute the ending ?
Starfox wasn't a popular game on the Cube, but had the most unexpected boss fight - given the mechanics of the rest of
the game, and a nice ending. As you can pick up the game for the price of a can of Coke these days, it's well worth a
try if you spot it in one of those 2nd hand bins.

Pikmin ending online
I'm having a bit of a Gamecube love-in right now, my gorgeous little indigo console that looks like a handbag is the
least popular out of this gen's console. To me that just means under appreciated. So I start that proceedings with the
ending to Pikmin, Nintendo's (kinda) take on RTS gaming. If I manage to pull my finger out, then another cube game
should appear tomorrow.

Wind Waker, and Silent Hill 3 endings online
Well, quite a bumper crop of endings here. Fresh from absolutely murdering me repeatedly on Steel Battalion: Line of
Contact last night, magic l0rd, *cough* spawn killer *cough*, has sent
us the ending to one of the best looking games of this generation. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
Meantime, our old friend, SH_Algernon , posted in all 3 endings to Silent
Hill 3. Although I feel like I've written this several times tonight (I think in fact I have, but on different pages), the
"Revenge" ending on SH3 deserves a special mention for just being the wackiest ending to a game I've ever seen, it makes the "Dog"
ending of SH2 look positively normal... go watch it now.

Conkers Bad Fur Day ending online
Did you miss me, I was on holiday for a week ? No, ok then screw you too etc.
To more important things. I saw the Xbox box for "Conker: Live and reloaded" in a
shop today.. I don't think it's out yet, preorder and all that. So it seems appropriate
that magic l0rd has supplied us
the original N64 ending of the game.
It's a great game that I loved playing through, a classic ending, and now I want to
get my dirty mits on the Xbox version to see how much they've changed it. Oh, and well
done Rare for finally managing to bring another game out - what's that now, 1 every 2 years ?

The OTOGI ending online, and "fun" with stats
Ok, well I've pulled my finger out and got the Otogi ending, courtesy of
magic l0rd, online.
We've been going just over a month no, so I thought it would be interesting to
show a few stats on the site.. but not too many, as that would be dull
During May we had about 18,500 hits from just under 1000 visitors. Which I'm
calling not bad at all, since about 99% of this was from a few posts in gaming
forums. People have actually started to find us via google now, and I start seeing
people connecting from forums we haven't heard of... all terribly exciting from
our point of view.
Surprisingly the most popular download in all this time was the RE4 movie. I was
surprised as I thought it was a game most people could easily reach the end of. But I suppose
the fact that the Cube is fairly unpopular as a whole meant that mainly Xbox and PS2 owners
were having a look at what they were missing out on.
After RE4, things started to make a lot more sense with Rez coming in a strong second place (
I expect it to overtake RE4 soon) and the various SH2 endings all popular. I can also guess that
most people who played through KOTOR did so as good Jedi's, as the dark side ending
is about 40% more popular than the light side.

All 5 Outrun 2 endings now online, OTOGI coming soon
Ok, well I've got all my software from my old PC onto the new PC, and I've managed to drag myself away from Half Life 2
long enough to get the Outrun 2 endings from magic l0rd online.
magic l0rd has been a busy little bee and has also sent in the ending
of OTOGI, so expect to see this in the next few days.
Posted by CurryKitten at 00:07:00 02-06-2005
So where are all the updates ?
My fault, have just got my new PC now, and still in the long task of transferring old stuff onto new PC and reconfiguring
software, and wondering why the DivX codec is suddenly acting differently. But hopefully this PC will fix
the annoying crashes and hangs I was getting when capturing, and video processing is approx 20 times faster already.
We do have updates to put on the site, magic l0rd has supplied us
with the 5 endings for Outrun 2 on the Xbox, so as soon as I sort out this new PC (and manage to drag myself away from
Half Life 2) expect an update - few days max.

Yay - Bandwidth problems fixed :-D
We thought we were screwed yesterday, but today there is much happiness. We were having
real problems getting any sense out of our hosting company. Every single question we
asked them seemed to have some cryptic answer that really didn't help. I'm beginning to
think they just reply by just shaking a magic 8 ball and writing down whatever comes out.
Re: You bandwidth
All signs point towards yes
WTF !?
But we're all fixed now, and it's really all thanks to Andrew Mills, who runs the
largest unofficial Metroid site, called www.samus.co.uk
Andrew not only offered us some space and bandwidth on some of his servers, but hooked
us up with a really low cost hosting company, with stack of monthly bandwidth and
server space. So we're hosting the movies on there now, and there's just a bit of jiggery pokery
on DNS I need to do.
So everything should be back to normal, and I'm off touting for new endings to put up once
again. Be sure to check out www.samus.co.uk if
you've got even a hint of being a Metroid fan. I'm talking to Andrew about getting the
Metroid 100% endings onto here, but in the meantime, they can be seen on his site.

Arrrghhh - Bandwidth disaster
Somewhat of a mixed bag yesterday, with lots of new visitors from a few other forums - that's the good news.
the bad news is - our bandwidth got absolutely hammered, and we're max'd out here.
I've had to remove the clips of the endings until we sort out something with our hosting company, in
the meantime, I'm going to move the more popular clips onto some personal space. Worst case scenario
is it's back to normal in 6 days time (new calendar month), though we obviously need to sort something
out. If you have any advice - or a shit load of bandwidth/webspace then please let us know.

Eternal Darkness ending now online
The site's bestest friend magic l0rd
continues to be on our Christmas card list by sending in the full ending to the Gamecube
classic Eternal Darkness.
Jon popped over to my house earlier tonight to pick up my copy of Project Zero for the
Xbox, as he has finished this once so should be able to do it again, but this time
record the ending. It would have been easier if he hadn't sold his copy of the game
though. Project Zero looks like a good ending to have on the site, it's rare that
people finish it because they get too scared playing the game.
We've been amazing under-whelmed here by the response to our "What endings would you like to see"
post. A grand total of no people told us what they wanted, so thanks to each and every one of them.
We'll just carry on doing what we're doing for now until anyone moans about it.

Silent Hill 2 endings online
It's nice to be too busy, on Friday, true to his word SH_Algernon
sent me the 7 endings to Silent Hill 2 which are now online.
In the meantime magic l0rd has sent me
the final ending to Eternal Darkness, which I haven't had time to sort out yet. I'm
blaming my PC mainly, with all this is being produced from my horrific old PIII 800Mz box which
still runs Win98. But my Athlon64 3500+ should be with me soon, so at least virtual dub
will move a bit faster.

Panzer Dragoon Orta ending online, Silent Hill 2 coming soon
magic l0rd has done the biz again
and given us the ending to the stunning looking game, Panza Dragoon Orta, it's a great
watch, and features some fantastic music.
In other news, I recently contacted some guys on a Silent Hill forum to see if anyone
had captured the endings. I got a great response from SH_Algernon
from www.silenthillforum.co.uk He's already
sent me the hard to get UFO and Dog endings from Silent Hill 2, and should be able to get
the other 5 endings for Silent Hill 2, and the 3 from Silent Hill 3 - which is fantastic news.
We'll get posting these endings up soon, but we're aiming to draw up a branching tree showing
what actions, or inactions you take to get to the particular ending. Obviously if you're
a fan of the Silent Hill games, be sure to check out the silenthillforum website, as you
can just about get any information you'd like about the games there.
Finally, I realised I was tracking down the endings of games I had wanted to see, but
hadn't really given any thought to what endings everyone else (i.e you lot) might want to
see. So I'm going to post up our own "Most wanted" page in the next few days, but I'd like
to hear from anyone about what endings they are dying to see posted up here. let us know at the
contributions address, that's contribute@game-endings.co.uk

Gitaroo Man ending online, Rez ending sorted
A good day today. This morning I captured the Gitaroo Man ending for everyone
still struggling on the Shark stage. Next, on checking my email, I see that friend
of the site, magic l0rd, has captured
the Butterfly ending to Rez. I've deleted our previous Rez ending off our server over
the slight hassle about using our logo. But now, thanks to magic l0rd
the logo is back, and it's a slightly more complete ending - which is great.
Finally, I've been out driving Porsches again, this time the 3.2Lt Boxster S... which
is even faster than the 2.7lt Boxster from last week, and has 6 gears !! I now have
to think if it's really worth adding several years back onto my mortgage if I want one
- decisions decisions.

Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic, both endings online
I finished the Light side ending of this game some time ago, but just haven't had the
time to think about playing 40+ hours again to see what the dark side is like. magic l0rd
having just sent us the Steel Battalion ending yesterday has stepped in and supplied us
with the Dark Side ending. Both a great watch, and about as different as two endings in
a game could get.
Oh bugger, I just managed to save the KOTOR text as the Steel Battalion text and
have wiped out the Steel Battalion page. I really wished I hadn't fixed the pages
to not cache now. Well if you happen to look at the SB page and wonder why it's different
than before, it because I just had to write it all again.. I think my first version was
better though :'-(

Steel Battalion ending online
I'm a happy man, one of the initial people that promised a clip for the site has come
through with style. magic l0rd from
www.rllmukforum.com has sent in the ending of
Steel Battalion. It's an ending I don't think many of us have seen - partly for the fact
that buying the game is very expensive because of the massive dedicated controller, and secondly because the
game itself is pretty bloody tough. Enjoy.

Our little logo on the clips
Well, I exchanged a few notes last night with Papercut
about the Rez ending we posted up yesterday. Although he didn't mind us hosting the clip, he did object to the game-endings.co.uk
logo we put in the top left of all the clips.
I went through the reasoning behind why we do this, and although he "got it", the way he
saw it was that it implied we here at game-endings.co.uk took credit for the clip ourselves.
Well, it's not the case, and we're crediting anyone that supplies us with a clip as much as
we can, and encouraging them to write some text giving a bit of a backstory behind the capture.
Anyway, I've updated the About us with details of why the logo is there - so please take a look
and let me know if you think the idea is stupid. Meantime, the logo is gone from the Rez clip, but I
am after the same capture from anyone else who doesn't object to the logo.

The Rez Butterfly ending
I've been following an interesting thread on the NTSC-UK forum (
http://ntsc-uk.domino.org) A group of guys were trying to get the 100% ending on Rez, with
a friendly bit of competition between them.
This sort of stuff is great, you feel really spurred on - turning it almost into a collaborative effort with
this sort of thing. The was of course a lot of bollocks thrown around the thread, claims to
have "100%'d everything on Rez within a day", and such like.
However, Papercut went and captured the 100% ending, which I've added to the site.
I've PM'd Papercut a few times now, but he hasn't replied, so I don't know if he's happy
about it or not. if he's got any objections, I'll take it down, but I hope he'll want to
leave it here and post up a few comments about playing the game which I'd like to add to the
Rez page.

102mph on sliproad
Ok, so this has got nothing to do with game endings but frankly I'm telling everyone. My
wife's friend just splashed out £35k on a wonderful Porsche Boxster. She came to visit us
today, gave me her keys and told me to try it out !
I'm so in love, I must have one, they purr - and everything feels so good, the gear changes
the revving, and so so much power in any gear. My only worry is that if I get one, then I will
lose my license within a week. In a quick 10 minute journey on to a motorway, along to one
junction and back again, I found myself travelling at over 100mph on 4 separate occasions.
One of these just getting past someone on a sliproad, wanting to see if I could pull away
from them quickly. As I watched them disappear in my mirror, I glanced at the speedo - 102mph
and I'd only got to 3rd gear. It's just so smooth.
On a vaguely games related note, I've been playing Forza on my Xbox for the past few days,
but I just don't think a virtual Boxster will do anymore ;-)

Site launched today today !!
Well today we sent out a bunch of posts on various forums around the web, and the response
wasn't at all bad... frankly I expected way more flaming. So a few things came up from the
posts today, the site www.vgmuseum.com was mentioned several times as they have endings on
their site. However, they are mostly of retro games, and the endings are still images rather
than movies. I'm not knocking the site, I had a nice stroll down memory lane
as far as retro stuff is concerned, but it's not the same thing as we're trying to do.
Also amongst the replies were some offers of some endings from a few gamers, so we're looking
forward to getting these up on the site. We also had a few great nuggets of info from hub2 on www.rllmukforum.com,
about some good ways of capturing PC game videos, and a far better way of getting large files
to us, so I've updated the How to contribute page with this new information.
Finally, after my PC crashed 4 times, I eventually managed to capture the ending of Beyond Good
and Evil (Gamecube version), so that can be viewed/downloaded from the view endings link in
the menu.

The basic concept
The idea of this site is to build up a repository of video's of the endings from games put
simply. Although most of us are able to get to the end of our games without too much hassle,
this site was inspired by games that make you work too hard to see all the endings. The Resident
Evil remake on the Gamecube - 6 endings. Eternal Darkness on the Cube you had to completely play through
3 times to get the "full" ending, and KOTOR on the Xbox, there's a dark side and light side ending, each play through needed around 40 hours.
I'm over 30 now, married with a small child, so I just don't have the spare time to play through a
game that many times, but if I finish it once, I think I earn the right to see all the endings
possible. But this is where we need help, I want other gamers to send me there endings of games
so I don't have to sit here fretting about wondering how I'm ever going to see the "dog ending" of
Silent Hill 2. Find out how you can contribute your game endings to the site, by clicking on How to contribute
on the side menu.

An Ode to Resident Evil
Aside from the game endings, we wanted this site to be a place to post all our random shit that
amuses us, I'm sure we'll have a link to this in the menu eventually. To coincide with the fact we have the RE4 ending online, Jon has written a poem about Resident Evil
I'd like to be a zombie
In Resident Evil 5.
Because sometimes I would just prefer
Not to be alive.
I'd shamble round the mansion,
And play fetch with zombie hounds,
Ride the giant spiders
And make spooky screaming sounds.
I don't want to solve any puzzles
I don't want to reach first place
I just want to hold you close
And bite off half your face

First 3 endings now online
Wow, yes, a whopping 3 endings are available to viewing/download. We would have perhaps launched
with more, but we were a) too lazy, and b) wanted to get this out so we might get some game ending contributions from you.
Click on view endings on the side menu to see what we have to offer.
